Beyond the summit of Mount Greylock, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts is a small yet bustling campus within the reaches of the Hankcock Shaker Village. Samuel Burgess and Breanna Castor are the two students from MCLA who have created this website as the end result of their exploration through the COPLAC Digital Course: Divided Houses and Successions. The goal of their project is to analyze the Hancock Shaker Village in the perspective of a separatist community and explore how their dynamic and society makes them one.
